Hello Imilton families! As your principal, I am beyond thrilled to connect with you through this newsletter. Fall Festival

Get ready for pumpkins, costumes, and candy! Our annual Fall Festival is just around the corner. It's scheduled for October 27th from 2 PM to 6 PM. We'll have games, food stalls, a haunted house (don't worry, it's kid-friendly!), and a costume contest. Bring the whole family for an afternoon of spooky fun!

The Fall Festival is one of our most anticipated events of the year, bringing together students, families, and staff for an afternoon of fun and community spirit. This year, we have expanded our offerings to include even more exciting activities and attractions. One of the highlights will be the pumpkin decorating station, where kids can unleash their creativity and design their own unique pumpkin masterpieces. We will provide all the necessary materials, including paint, glitter, stencils, and carving tools (with adult supervision, of course).

In addition to the classic games like ring toss and bean bag throw, we are introducing some new and innovative activities to keep everyone entertained. The haunted house, designed with younger children in mind, will feature friendly ghosts and playful surprises rather than scary monsters. We will also have a face painting booth where kids can transform into their favorite characters or animals. For the adults, we’ll have a craft fair showcasing local artisans and their handmade goods. It's a perfect opportunity to start your holiday shopping early and support our talented community members.

Food stalls will offer a variety of delicious treats and snacks, from hot apple cider and pumpkin spice donuts to savory options like chili and corn on the cob. We will also have vegetarian and gluten-free options available to accommodate different dietary needs. The costume contest will be divided into age categories, with prizes awarded for the most creative, funniest, and scariest costumes. So, start planning your outfits now and get ready to impress!

We encourage all families to participate in the Fall Festival and help make it a memorable event for our students. Book Fair

Calling all bookworms! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school library from November 13th to November 17th. It's a fantastic opportunity to stock up on new books, support our library, and encourage reading. We'll have a wide selection of books for all ages and reading levels.

The Scholastic Book Fair is an annual event that brings the joy of reading to our students and supports the growth of our school library. This year, we are excited to offer an even wider selection of books, including the latest releases, classic favorites, and educational resources. The book fair will be set up in our school library, creating a vibrant and inviting space for students to browse and discover new literary treasures.

We understand that reading is a fundamental skill that is essential for academic success and personal growth. That's why we are committed to providing our students with access to a diverse collection of books that cater to their interests and reading levels. The Scholastic Book Fair offers a unique opportunity for students to explore different genres, authors, and topics, fostering a love of reading that will last a lifetime.

Winter Concert

Get into the holiday spirit with our Winter Concert on December 15th at 7 PM in the school auditorium. Our students have been working hard to prepare a festive performance that will fill your heart with joy. From carols to instrumental pieces, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

The Winter Concert is a cherished tradition at Imilton Public School, bringing together our students, teachers, and families to celebrate the holiday season. Teacher Spotlight

This month, we're shining the spotlight on Ms. Emily Carter, our amazing 4th-grade teacher.
